Remodeling Your Bathrooms
So you have decided to remodel the bathrooms in your home. Good choice! Something to keep in mind when embarking on the path of bathroom remodeling...
Homes that have at least one bathtub are generally more sought after to a buyer than homes without a bathtub. For example, lets say your bathroom was built in the 70's with a soffit and a now outdated vinyl molded bathtub. One thought may be to remove everything and put in a nice custom tiled shower.
Later on down the line, if you decide to resell your home, you will find that potential buyers with small children need a bathtub to wash their children. If your newly remodeled bathroom does not have a bathtub, it may be a turn off to a potential buyer. Even a plunge bathtub maybe a bit of an inconvenience for a potential buyer that has small children.
Time To Add Accessories To Your New Bathroom
Plunking down money on a bathroom remodel is a great idea. To do the
job right, you should take time to consider the details. Accessories
are what makes the bathroom a unique and enjoyable space. What type
of lighting fixtures do you plan to use? Something classic that adds
sophistication? Something colorful that adds style? Something funky?
All of the above? Can you add a skylight? Think about the faucets and
sinks too. There are so many options that cater to many tastes. Choose
wisely and don't be afraid to do something unique.
